一、must与have to的区别

1、must：表示主观需要或带有责任感的有必要或有义务去做某事，意思是“必须”，更侧重于个人意志和主观上的“必须”。

have to：表示客观存在的环境所限，一般是译为“不得不干某事”，带有强迫感，更侧重客观上的必须。

must 与 have to 也可以互换使用。

例句：He must clean the room because there are too dirty.(无人强迫) 因为房间太脏了，他必须要打扫。

I have to do my homework now.(表示不得不做) 我现在不得不做作业。

I must/have to go to school now.现在我必须上学了。

2、must可以用来表示现在和将来的必须，是没有时态的变化，而have to有更多时态的变化。

例句：She had to give up the plan.她不得不放弃这个计划。

I will have to buy a new pen.我不得不买只新笔。

3、变否定句时，must 只要直接在其后加 not，多表示“禁令”的意思。而 have to 既可变成 haven't to，也可变成 don't have to/doesn't have to。

例句：You must not do it.你不可以做那件事。

We don’t have to buy a computer at present.我们目前没有必要买电脑。

4、must的疑问句回答，肯定回答是yes,you must；否定回答是no,you needn't 或者no,you don't have to。
